How is the equipment sanitised?
A.

All the equipment undergoes a medical grade sanitation process after every use.The main cleaning solution is Hibitane/ Hibiclens or Cidex OPA, these solutions are the same that are used prior to surgical procedures. All equipment used goes through a flushing process with surgical alcohol and then another flushing process with sterilised water. This thorough process ensures the equipment is 100% sanitised and impurity free ready for accurate testing.

Training Plans

Q.
How are the training plans designed?
A.

All of our training plans are designed for the individual in mind. We use a one-on-one consultation to review your goals, ambitions, training age (how long you have been training without prolonged breaks of more than 6-8 weeks) and talk through realistic training time and expectations. From this we draft out your periodised training program. Depending which package you choose will depend on the level of feedback and detail to the plan. Good training plans take a decent amount of time to design and therefore there can be a few days between consultation and receiving your plan..

Q.
What is TrainingPeaks tm?
A.

TrainingPeaks is an online training plan tool tailored to most sports coaching, enabling the tracking of a client's training progress. It is a very powerful tool for both the client and coach as it enables both to see how they are getting on, where they might need to improve and the development towards their long and short term goals.

Q.
Why do the plans have a set duration?
A.

Due to the time taken to design an individual plan and the need for training in general to have a physiological effect we like to set a minimum duration. This not only allows time for clients to get use to the planned training, it also builds a picture over the duration of how well the individual is developing to the training stresses placed on them. Training adaptation takes time and without a structured plan individuals are unlikely to see much improvement.
